A drive-in coronavirus testing station opens on Monday 7th of September
The city of Kalajoki will open a drive-in coronavirus testing station in Ymmyrkäinen hall on Monday, September 7, 2020. The testing station is open on weekdays from 12 noon to 3 pm.
The address of the drive-in coronavirus testing station is Ymmyrkäisentie 12. Entrance from the road 8 side of the hall. Place is marked with orange signs.
Coronavirus test can be taken while sitting in the car without leaving the car. You can also go by foot, door is from the parking area side of the building, from the direction of the road 8. People are asked to check in separately and wait outside. Coronavirus test must always be booked in advance by phone from the number 044 4691 502.
Corona testing continues also in Himanka. Himanka Health Station operates as infection appointment unit (address: Kannuskyläntie 13, Himanka) for all residents of Kalajoki and Merijärvi and also tourists visiting Kalajoki. The unit will ONLY see clients with flu symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat, severe cold, earache, chest pain, muscle pain, breathing difficulties).
Patients with symptoms of infection should not come to the Kalajoki Health Center (fever, cough, shortness of breath, runny nose, sore throat, muscle aches, nausea, diarrhea). Initial contact should always be established by phone:044-4691502.
