Students have the opportunity to complete a double degree: a basic vocational qualification and an upper secondary school diploma simultaneously. The duration of studies is three or four years depending on the degree. The order and pace in which the upper secondary school studies and vocational studies are completed varies by field. Studies can be completed as full terms at the upper secondary school or interlaced with vocational studies.

There are approximately 40 students studying for the double degree every year.

In Kalajoki, the double degrees are carried out in cooperation with Kalajoki Vocational College, Kalajoki Upper Secondary School and Kalajoki Christian College, all of which belong to the Federation of Education in Jokilaaksot (JEDU).
