Upper secondary school
Kalajoki upper secondary school was founded in 1957. The first 11 students graduated from the school in 1960.
The school is currently attended by 250 students from Kalajoki and other parts of Finland. The cornerstones of the upper secondary school’s operations are its wide range of available courses, high-quality teaching, specialisation studies, international activities and the guiding of students towards an approach that emphasises a sense of community, being active and thinking for yourself. The school pays a great deal of attention to the students’ well-being and comfort.
In Kalajoki Upper secondary school you can study general, visual arts, sports or international studies line. Students who have graduated from the school have been highly successful in moving on to further studies. You can read more about studying in Kalajoki here.
