Maps and geographic information

The area of responsibility of the city’s geographic information services includes map and geographic information materials as well as measurement and mapping activities.

The City of Kalajoki manages the map and measurement services of the municipalities of Pyhäjoki, Sievi and Merijärvi in accordance with the municipal cooperation that began in 1991.

Services are sold to companies and private operators in the surrounding area in accordance with a fee approved by the Technical Committee. Possible work assignments and timetables are always agreed upon separately and in advance with the customer.
