Employment services

Employment services include a local government pilot on employment, a One-Stop Guidance Centre (Ohjaamo) for people under the age of 30, summer jobs for young people and wage-subsidised work. Employment services provide assistance with matters and services related to employment and job seeking. We also help employers find new employees and offer information and support with employment.

Local government pilot on employment

The City of Kalajoki is involved in a local government pilot on employment, in which the municipality helps jobseeker clients with employment services instead of the TE Office. The clients of the local government pilot on employment include all jobseekers under the age of 30, immigrants, foreign-language speakers and jobseekers who receive basic unemployment allowance or a labour market subsidy from Kela. Always register as a jobseeker through the E-services of TE Services (https://tyomarkkinatori.fi/en). The local government pilot on employment will contact new clients of the pilot. Your designated TE Services specialist will help you with matters related to employment.
